Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy flew to Delhi and sat for a meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi for a meeting. We are told that Jagan Reddy invited Modi for the inauguration of his Government’s Prestigious, YSR Raithu Bharosa Scheme on the 15th of this month. Sources in BJP tells us that the Prime Minister is unlikely to attend the event as the State Unit had its share of apprehensions. “BJP is giving 6000 out of the 12500 in the scheme. But it is named only after YSR. Attending the inauguration will mean that we can not go aggressive on the state government,” a source said.

Media reports are that the Prime Minister told No to Jagan which left the Chief Minister upset. Jagan was supposed to meet Home Minister Amit Shah after the Prime Minister’s meeting but he skipped it and directly headed to the Airport. The Chief Minister did not even talk to the media after the Prime Minister’s meeting. Unlike how he prompted TDP to severe ties with BJP, Jagan is consistently trying to ensure good relations with the Central Government
